About the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation
Founded in 1989, the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation is a place-based organization in Sonoma County focused on the Laguna de Santa Rosa and the surrounding wetland communities. Our mission is to restore and conserve the Laguna de Santa Rosa and inspire a public appreciation for this Wetland of International Importance. Recognizing its vital connection to our overall environment and its direct link to our economy, we steward wetland habitats across the 254-square mile Laguna watershed and educate community members through partnerships with volunteers, government agencies, Native tribes, public and private landowners, and our donors.
