Kaiser Permanente welcomes new Public Affairs representative

The Kaiser Permanente Marin-Sonoma Service Area recently welcomed Heather Chavez as our new Public Affairs Representative. In this new role, Heather will provide communications and community event support for the Marin-Sonoma Area.

Heather, who received a bachelor’s degree in English from UC Berkeley, most recently held the position of Content Editor/Page Designer for The Press Democrat in Santa Rosa. Her 28 years in the media industry also includes experience as a pressdemocrat.com blogger and a stint as a reporter at the Lake County Record-Bee, where she covered issues that included politics, aging and education.
