Kaiser Permanente appoints new Support Services administrator
Kaiser Permanente recently announced the appointment of Dan Modlin as Support Services administrator in San Rafael. In this role, Dan will be accountable for all support areas of KP’s 116 bed acute care hospital in San Rafael.
Dan joined Kaiser Permanente in 2015 as part of the organization’s first military officer fellowship. He held several positions in strategy before joining Northern California President Janet Liang’s team as an executive consultant, where he ultimately assumed the duties of chief of staff. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Dan spent six years as an Army officer with the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC, prior to joining Kaiser Permanente. His military career included a combat deployment where he led the operational planning and execution of more than 200 missions in Southern Afghanistan.
“I am incredibly proud to work for Kaiser Permanente as we look to positively impact the state of health care in San Rafael,” Dan said. “Our future is a bright one, and I greatly look forward to helping shape it.”
