Kaiser Permanente appoints new director of Medical Education
Kaiser Permanente recently announced the appointment of Adrienne Silver, MD, as the new Director of Medical Education at the Santa Rosa Medical Center.
Dr. Silver’s career with Kaiser Permanente started in Denver, Colo., where she served as the Chief of Pediatrics in a multidisciplinary clinic. In 2008, she transferred to Santa Rosa, and joined Kaiser Permanente’s Pediatrics Department.
Dr. Silver has served as the lead for medical education in Pediatrics as well as an Assistant Chief in her department.
“It is a unique privilege to help shape the future of medical education for our medical center and in our Santa Rosa community. The education of medical students and young physicians is a complex and dynamic process, constantly evolving and is destined to play a critical role in the future of both our organization and the medical profession,” she said.
Dr. Silver graduated from the Children's Hospital Residency Program in Denver, Colo. Prior to residency, she completed her medical school training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, also in Denver.
