Kaiser Permanente appoints new chief of Hospital Based Specialists
Kaiser Permanente recently announced the appointment of Nannette Meyers, MD, to the role of chief of Hospital Based Specialists (HBS) at the Santa Rosa Medical Center.
Dr. Meyers trained as both an internist and pediatrician at the University of Chicago Hospitals. She has been with The Permanente Medical Group since 1999, when she started in the primary care clinic. After several years there, she transitioned to full-time hospitalist duties. She has served as the Assistant Chief of HBS since 2014.
“During my tenure here, I have watched the facility and the HBS department grow and found myself growing along with it,” Dr. Meyers said. “Being part of a department that runs 24/7 provides some unique challenges. It is my hope that I can be of service to my department, the facility, and our members by continuing to build upon the excellent work that has already been done.”
