Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County Needs Volunteers
Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County (HFHSC) is a volunteer-driven organization. We welcome people from all walks of life to join us as we build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with families in need. Though the vast majority have no construction experience or building skills, volunteers are involved in most phases of construction.
By working side-by-side with the family who will live in the house, our volunteers experience for themselves the joy created when a family is able to realize their dream of home ownership. In addition to construction crews, we also need volunteers to work at ReStore, our discount home improvement outlet that exists to help fund the building of Habitat homes. Opportunities at ReStore range from graphic design to customer service, from inventory management to retail display. Please contact Isabelle Accornero at i.accornero@habitatsoco.org for more details about volunteering. To find out more about the history and work of Habitat for Humanity and to find out more about volunteer opportunities attend our next HabiTalk.
