Employers wanted: 4th Annual Job & Resource Fair for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness
The 4th Annual Job & Resource Fair for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness will be held on October 28 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.
This community event brings together employers, resource providers, and job seekers in a welcoming environment focused on opportunity, connection, and hope. In addition to employment and resource information, attendees will have access to interview clothing vouchers, transportation assistance, haircuts, a resume clinic, lunch, and gift cards.
The event is organized and sponsored by a collaborative partnership of local government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and businesses, including Sonoma County Department of Health Services, CA Department of Rehabilitation, Sunrise Rotary, COTS, ISFN, CSN, Micah’s Hugs, Mary’s Pizza, Goodwill, Linkenheimer, Cotati Food Services, West Coast Haircuts, Santa Rosa Junior College and more.
We're looking for employers to host a table and share employment opportunities. There will be some very qualified job seekers but there will also be attendees who are working hard to rebuild their lives. You don't need to have an immediate job opening to make a meaningful impact. This event is about more than hiring—it's about showing up for our community. The attendees are our neighbors who are working hard to rebuild their lives. A friendly conversation, the opportunity to practice networking, and a positive interaction with an employer can help build confidence and create pathways to future employment. By hosting a table, you'll demonstrate your organization's commitment to strengthening our community.
There is no cost to participate as an employer.
If you have questions, would like to reserve a table, or are interested in sponsoring the event, please email socojobandresourcefair@gmail.com or visit this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r...
Thank you for helping create opportunities and hope for members of our community.
