Corrick's Stationery & Gifts – Centennial Celebration
October of 2015 will see downtown retail destination Corrick's celebrating a century of offering quality stationery, gifts, local art, and other fine goods. The month of festivities will feature special giveaways and promotions, live music, an art opening, and featured memorabilia from throughout the store's long history. Corrick's customers both new and old, and all in the community are invited to come help us celebrate at events throughout October.
“Marking our 100th Anniversary is a milestone for me personally,” says fourth-generation owner Keven Brown. “It represents innumerable relationships and collaborations with this vibrant and caring community: our staff of dedicated employees with tenures averaging twenty years; the tight-knit Downtown community of family-run businesses, professionals, and artists who bring this area to life; the gracious and loyal customers from throughout the greater North Bay. I hope everyone will come and celebrate our Centennial with us this month!”
The landmark family business has operated in four different Fourth Street locations since A. R. Corrick took ownership of an existing stationery shop in 1915. Since then, the late Kenneth & Marjorie Brown, symphony conductor emeritus Corrick & Norma Brown, and now Keven and Jeri Brown have managed, expanded, and refined the store. Together, they have shaped it into what it is today: an emporium of fine gifts, stationery, and -most recently- the Sonoma County Art Trails Gallery at Corrick's, a year-round space devoted to the beautiful artwork being produced by our own neighbors.
