Chop’s Teen Club Announces Teams and Judges for 3rd Annual “Who’s Got The Chop’s” Lip Sync Battle

Community event raises critical funds to support Chop’s Teen Club and local Sonoma County teens

On Saturday, March 9 at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, community members will gather for Chop’s Teen Club’s 3rd annual Who’s Got The Chop’s Lip Sync Battle. Who’s Got The Chop’s is a no-holds barred lip sync competition pitting teams against each other in an exciting, hilarious and highly entertaining evening that raises critical funds for Sonoma County teens.

Seven teams will be competing in this year’s event and represent a variety of Sonoma County businesses and community organizations. The teams include: Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller and Moskowitz LLP, Leap Solutions, Exchange Bank, St. Joseph Medical, Dr. Walter Tom-Aesthetic Laser and Vein Centers, Redwood Credit Union and Leadership Santa Rosa Class 32. Teams will be raising money to support Chop’s prior to the event and during the event. Each team will lip sync to their favorite tunes, show their dance moves and rile the crowd’s enthusiasm.

Teams will be competing for three awards; “The Chop’s” award is given to the top overall fundraising team. The “Judge’s Choice” is awarded by a panel of renowned Sonoma County leaders, including: Senator Mike McGuire; Hank Schreeder, Chief Santa Rosa Police Department; Diann Kitamura, Santa Rosa City Schools Superintendent and Leslie McCauley, Santa Rosa Junior College Theatre Chair/Artistic Talent. The “People’s Choice” award is chosen by popular vote of the audience.

This is an event for those 18 and older and will take place at the Luther Burbank Center from 5-9:30pm, with an after party at Epicenter Sports and Entertainment Complex from 10pm-12am. Tickets to the event start at $60, with wine and food tickets available.
