Celebrate National Library Lovers Month
February is National Library Lovers Month and Sonoma County Library wants to know what you love about your library. Share your favorite library photos and videos on social media with the hashtag #SCLLOVE. It could be a photo of you and your family at the library, a new book you just checked out, or a creative drawing or artwork.
“We can’t wait to see your social media posts on what you love about your library!” said Sonoma County Library Director Ann Hammond. “Another fantastic way to celebrate National Library Lovers Month is to visit a library location near where you work or live. We recently expanded our branch hours to make life easier for you.”
Sonoma County Library patrons showered the library with love during past National Library Lovers Months.
“I love our Sonoma County Library system. It never ceases to amaze me just much material is available—free—to the public,” Lisa Amico said about the library last year.
All regional branches are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. In addition, regional branches are open until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and Central Santa Rosa Library is open from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Visit sonomalibrary.org/locations for a list of all locations and hours.
The library’s expanded hours are possible because of funding from the Measure Y sales tax, the community’s investment in free public libraries.
Sonoma County Library reserves the right to use patron’s #SCLLOVE content for future marketing and educational purposes.
Sonoma County Library branches are open! Visit your local library in person, or online at sonomalibrary.org for thousands of films, TV shows, eBooks, databases, magazines, classes, video games and more.
