Blood Drive: Donate a Pint and Get a Free Fair Ticket
Vitalant (“Vye-TAL-ent”), formerly Blood Centers of the Pacific, and the Sonoma County Fair are partnering for the 1st Annual Sonoma County Fair Kick-Off Blood Drive. The blood drive will be held in Santa Rosa on Monday, July 1st from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.
Help hospital patients in our community and earn a day of fun at the Sonoma County Fair! The Sonoma County Fair starts August 1, 2019 but blood donations are needed now. Donating blood takes about an hour from the time you arrive. Donors must be in good general health and be at least 16 years old (16 & 17 years old with written parental consent). The Vitalant consent form can be found at www.Vitalant.org. Donors should eat a good meal and drink plenty of water prior to their donation. Donors can give blood every eight weeks. Photo ID is required.
