AXIA Architects expands ownership to key employees
AXIA Architects is pleased to announce the expansion of ownership to select key employees. Gregg H Rake, Melissa Wadlow and Jason Weaver have joined the ownership team of AXIA and bring with them a youthful enthusiasm for the industry.
Gregg H Rake is a licensed architect in Colorado and an LEED Green Associate. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning and graduated with Honors and Academic Achievement Award. Gregg has extensive experience in 3 states and a special passion for the design, finishes, furniture and art of interior architecture. Gregg has knowledge of commercial, manufacturing, justice, higher education, historic preservation and adaptive reuse project types. Gregg is an integral member of the team and a proud addition to the ownership of the firm.
Melissa Wadlow has been a significant member of the AXIA team for the past 7 years. Her strength in marketing, accounting and office management have been core to AXIA’s internal operations. She has recently been promoted to the position of Controller and is responsible for the day to day business of the firm. Melissa is a welcome addition to the ownership of the firm.
Jason Weaver is a native of Sonoma County and has over 12 years of experience in the practice of architecture with strong attention to constructability and code requirements. He heads AXIA’s construction technology and is on the forefront of Revit techniques. Jason volunteers on the Construction Committee for the Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County and has been tasked with selecting and developing future projects. Jason is a valuable member and mentor of the AXIA team and his energy and commitment to the craft inspires his clients and peers. AXIA is proud to add Jason Weaver to the ownership of the firm.
