Active 20-30 of Santa Rosa #50 at the Blood Bank

The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled many events throughout Santa Rosa, including already scheduled blood donation drives. When the call for blood donors came from Vitalant, the members of the Active 20-30 of Santa Rosa #50 and the Santa Rosa Moose Lodge answered the call. Members of both organizations filled up an entire day's schedule at Vitalant, with approximately 50 members donating their blood to help COVID-19 patients, as well as other patients in need of blood -- while practicing social distancing and wearing facial masks.
