Winter Lights is Santa Rosa's destination for season long holiday fun! It all starts the day after Thanksgiving in Downtown Santa Rosa’s Old Courthouse Square with the Annual Tree Lighting Celebration.
Tree Lighting Celebration
It all kicks off the day after Thanksgiving with the Tree Lighting Celebration on Courthouse Square. Family friendly activities, live entertainment, delicious holiday drinks and treats, photos with Santa, and of course the official lighting of the Courthouse Square tree with a skating show by Redwood Ice Theatre Company and everyone’s favorite beagle, Snoopy! It’s all part of this FREE community celebration!
Skating on the Square
The fun doesn't stop there! From the Tree Lighting until the New Year, lace up your skates and glide across the Skating on the Square synthetic, zero-energy ice rink. This eco-friendly option requires zero water and zero electricity to run all while still providing a smooth, stable surface, perfect for beginners or anyone improving their skills. Skate helpers are also available for extra support, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience.
