Kaiser Permanente appoints new Continuum Administrator
Kaiser Permanente recently announced the appointment of Skelly Wingard as Continuum Administrator for the Marin-Sonoma Service Area.
In her new role, Skelly will be responsible for overseeing all areas of continuing care, including Home Health/Hospice, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Durable Medical Equipment, Ambulance, Claims and Referrals, Palliative Care, End-Stage Renal Disease, Social Services, Case Management, Coordination of Care/Utilization Management, Outside Services and Contracts.
Skelly has more than ten years of progressive leadership experience in complex healthcare settings. She began her career in healthcare as an ICU/ED charge nurse at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. In 2008, she transitioned to North American Health Care, Inc., where she took on increasingly responsible roles, including wound care liaison, clinical systems analyst and director of quality assurance. In 2012, she joined Ensign Services, Inc., as the director of nursing, and in 2014, she was promoted to vice president of Care Continuum.
Skelly holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of San Francisco.
